About

United in Christ Jesus (UCJ) is an international ministry whose sole purpose is to glorify God the Father through His Son – the risen Lord Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

UCJ began in 2010 with it’s main focus on evangelism nationally and internationally. It’s founder, Shane Sands, was ordained as an evangelist in the same year, by the laying on of hands by the church elders. The ministry received its 501c3 status in 2011 and officially became a non-profit ministerial organization.

Since it’s inception, United in Christ Jesus has been blessed to minister on 3 continents, 11 countries, and numerous states and cities. Our gospel tracts have been translated into 4 languages and distributed to tens to hundreds of thousands of people.

Early in the ministry, the main platform used to bring the gospel to the lost was through open-air preaching/street ministry. While we have been blessed to preach in local churches, our hearts were burdened to meet people where they lived their lives – out in the highways and byways. As a result of this platform, we were also able to encourage other believers who heard the gospel going forth to all people. We cannot count the number of times fellow believers would come up to us to thank God that His gospel was going forth so boldly with love. We estimate approximately several hundred thousand individuals have heard the gospel directly through the open proclamation of the gospel. Now in this season of the ministry, our hearts are still burdened to reach the lost; the Lord has also placed a burden upon us to build up the Body – for the next generation, to carry the glorious gospel to all people everywhere. The platform we feel the Lord is leading us to utilize predominately at this time – reaching both the believer and non-believer – is through our podcast, “That They May All Be One“.

The podcast name comes directly from the ministry’s foundational scripture verse found in John 17:21, “That they may all be one; just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that you sent Me.” It is as true today as it was at the very beginning of the ministry – that the Lord would use us in such a way that His people would be equipped to carry out the mission of the church and be united in love.

  1. Your opening monologue regarding UCJ, Inc. was clear, concise, informative, and very professionally presented with a beautiful backdrop that served to capture the attention of the listener without distracting from the intended message and purpose of the ministry. My prayers and blessings go with you while serving HIS mission to reach and save the lost. NUMBERS 6: 24-26 and PROVERBS 3: 1-12 NIV.

    • Thank you dad for your kind and gracious comments. Whenever a brother or sister in CHRIST shares a comment of encouragement I am encouraged and blessed. Much more so when it comes from the man, my dad, who has been instrumental in my growth as a man and a follower of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. I praise the LORD and give the HIM glory for placing in you to share this kindness regarding myself and the ministry entrusted. Truly, may the LORD grant it be used to reach the lost resulting in the salvation of many, as HIS works continue in and through it. May the LORD JESUS grant it be used to encourage individuals and the church to walk in a manner worthy of HIS calling and gospel. May the LORD use it to encourage and exhort the church to go and proclaim HIS excellencies to all people everywhere.

      18 “As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
      19 “For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.
      20 “I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word;
      21 that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.”
